The story
Phileas Fogg bets twenty thousand pounds that he can go around the world in eighty days, and leaves that same night. A train, a steamer, an elephant, a hurricane, and a clock that never stops.
Same method and level as the Don Quixote reader, so it is the obvious next book. Illustrated with the wood engravings of Neuville and Benett, Paris, 1873.
